FAQs

A typical pool can cost anywhere from $100,000 to $160,000 depending on size, features, and accessory packages. Pricing includes a fiberglass shell, plumbing to/from a pool house, winter safety cover and pool equipment (pump, cartridge filter, salt cell, and a natural gas heater). These prices do not include electrical and mechanical connections, the pool house or landscaping the yard as these are all dependent on distances and finishes.

We only install fiberglass pools as they are the best option for our climate and have the longest-lasting value. With very low maintenance costs, your investment every year to keep your pool running is minimal.

Installing a pool is a significant investment into your home and property in the first place and so repair and maintenance costs for other pool types can add up quickly. We install Latham fiberglass pools because they have a lifetime warranty (the longest in the industry.) We want to make sure you know your investment is well made.

Yes, as with any pool, a fiberglass pool can fail if installed incorrectly. The reason they fail is due to hydrostatic pressure caused by excessive ground water.

We have been trained in and follow manufacturer best installation practices. We also take additional measures to ensure your pool will not fail.

For example, we install an 8" dewatering pipe within the pool excavation which allows us to manage excessive ground water and maintain the proper volume of water in the pool at all times to protect against heaving, bowing and collapsing.
